About Us

Borne to Create partnered with Mosaic School of Integrated Arts, a holistic, arts-focused organization that provides in-school, after-school, and off-campus instruction to at-risk, underserved youth. We actively engage students by creating ways to imagine, collaborate and innovate. We offer multiple opportunities for students to develop diverse skills through active learning, dance, vocal, music, media arts, theatre, and visual art instruction.

Borne to Create organization serves youth by providing a series of classes, workshops, and recitals. Performing and visual arts has served as a tremendous health benefit supporting fitness, form, technique, and reducing the effects of mental health.

The art industry was severely affected by economic loss, student cancellations, and increased expenses. The impact of this pandemic on art students was critical, this problem was not unique as the world collectively suffered from lack of connection and physical interaction, loss, and health disparities. Individuals also suffered access to mental health.

Our Mission

The Borne Creative Workshop (BCW) is Borne to Create’s primary program developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which focuses on providing classes, a series of training and workshops, teaching basic and specialized topics by introducing SEL (social, emotional learning) to visual arts, vocal, dance, theatre, vocal, music, and S.T.E.M.

The classes conducted under the program are in-person, and BTC is developing other courses to reach children and youth with talent outside the performing and visual arts.

Borne to Create intends to provide its services under the BCW to at-risk youth, 18 years of age and below, from low-income or underserved households and communities in the Sacramento area in the state of California.

Our Board

The Borne to Create Board Members are dedicated to fulfilling the mission, helping more kids express their creativity through various art forms.
